TyloSoft llc is a recent startup, founded by Laurent Mondamert and Bill Hook, with the idea of bringing decades of combined knowledge of software development, acquired at companies like IBM and Rational Software, to create a new standard for customer value. TyloSoft llc is located in Boulder, Colorado, a setting where rich and ubiquitous professional and technical talent is rivaled only by a healthy outdoor and athletic culture.

Founder: Laurent Mondamert

Laurent has sixteen years of enterprise level software development experience, beginning in France where he was born, and progressing in Colorado where he worked on software to manage requirements at Rational Software and IBM. At Rational Software, Laurent was a technical product manager and lead software engineer. He left IBM to join Non Profit Technologies as a senior staff engineer where he provided distributed web based accounting integration solutions to non profits. He later took a position as Chief Technology Officer with Six88 Solutions, which delivered e-commerce, web applications, and services for the wine industry. Laurent’s boundless energy for getting software right, mixed with his desire to own his own business, lead him to join with Bill in founding TyloSoft llc.

Laurent has extensive experience as a project lead professional with responsibilities in the definition, design, and delivery of customized and commercial software products. He has extensive knowledge of software engineering tools and best practices including iterative development, requirements management, use cases, and modeling with UML. Laurent has been a leader, successfully managing diverse project teams and building collaborative relationships to translate customer needs into successful technological solutions.

Laurent makes his home in Boulder where he plays soccer, inline skates, and enjoys art in his free time.

Founder: Bill Hook

Bill has sixteen years of enterprise level software development experience, beginning as a technology manager for the federal government throughout the 1990s. He joined Laurent at Rational Software in Boulder and eventually IBM before moving with Laurent to Non Profit Technologies where he was engaged as a senior staff engineer until joining with Laurent once again to found TyloSoft llc.

Bill has extensive enterprise software engineering experience with an emphasis on architecture using component driven, object-oriented principles and practices. He has spearheaded efforts utilizing service-oriented architecture (SOA) using Microsoft WCF.NET. All implementations have involved object-oriented languages, with exclusive use of C# and .NET over the past five years. His experience at Rational Software with RUP life-cycle development and the iterative process has had a fundamental and lasting impact on how he builds software. Bill is a certified DBA with twelve years of database application development employing SQL Server, Oracle, and ERwin. He has nine years of supervisory management experience and eleven years of project leadership experience.

Bill makes his home in Boulder where he bikes, runs, plays chess, and enjoys photography in his free time.
